Chicken manure is an excellence organic fertilizer for plantation, gardening, landscaping and top soil production. It contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and other nutrient which is beneficial to the plants. On the other hand, the nitrogen carry in the organic fertilizer are insoluble thus acting as a slow-release fertilizer. Organic fertilizer also has the advantage of avoiding certain problems associated with the regular heavy use of artificial fertilizers. That include, retaining soil moisture, improving soil structure and mobilizing existing soil nutrients so that good growth is achieved with lower nutrient densities while wasting less. It reduces the necessity of reapplying artificial fertilizers regularly and extensive runoff of soluble nitrogen and phosphorus leading to eutrophication.
